The H2020 GenRes Bridge project started in January 2019

The H2020 GenRes Bridge project aims to strengthen the European networks for the conservation of genetic resources of cultivated plants, forests, and animals. To achieve this, its main objective is to develop a proposal for a European strategy, with the input of a diverse range of stakeholders and partners. Several workshops are planned in 2019 to support this objective (http://www.genresbridge.eu/about-us/events/). As part of this effort, a network of genetic resource centres (CRBs) with expertise in cross-cutting resource management practices has just been established (http://www.genresbridge.eu/about-us/news/news/european-genebanks-start-t...).
